Just taking a moment to look back on how I got here. So many things have changed or turned upside down in my life that I begin to lose track. But I remain grateful for the many opportunities afforded me, the lessons I am grateful to learn, and the paths I see ahead.
Writing on a regular basis has been difficult of late. As the mother of three children, I find my time and attention pulled in far too many ways. I remember what it was like to have hours of available time to think and write and create. No more! There are children needing to be shuttled from place to place, chores needing doing, and I feel that by the time I get to sit down at the end of the day, all there is left to do is sleep. Some nights I drop on the couch and don’t get up until morning.
I have many more works in progress than I have listed on this website, and only a few get looked at and typed on with any sort of loyalty. There are many more stories to tell, but right now I have to be a part of life that is going on all around me. Many authors understand this notion. We love to write, but life is what happens often when we are holed up writing the lives of fictional characters.
